ABOUT:-
The highest peak in the lower Himalayas of the Garhwal region near Mussoorie is called Nag Tibba, which means Serpent Peak.Additionally, it gives a name to the Nag Tibba range, which is one of the three ranges of the Lesser Himalayas (the others being the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal). This is one of the best weekend hikes that both novice and expert hikers can embark on.At the top of the hill, there is a small temple, from where one can see the entire Bandarpunch range of the great Indian Himalayas on the far side of Yamunotri. In spring and summer,Nag Tibba is the ideal place for camping, and in winter, when most of the treks are closed due to heavy snowfall,it is one of the best treks. It is one of the most popular weekend treks in India because of how easy it is to get there.
REASONS:-
NEARNESS TO DELHI:-Time is the only limited resource in today’s busy world. So, everything—including shopping, outings, quality time with family, etc.—must happen on the weekends. And if you live in or near Delhi and get tired of visiting malls and theaters again and again, a visit to Nag Tibba is the ideal place to start this spectacular mountain-exploration journey. Nag Tibba starts at Pantwari,90 kms from Dehradun. So, if you take a bus from Delhi at 11:00 PM,you will reach Dehradun by 5:00 AM the next morning. From there you can take a cab, and by 9:00 am you will be at Pantwari. If you start on Friday night you can start walking from 9:00 am.
TIME IS TAKEN FOR THE TREK:-
Depending on how hard you want to push yourself,a weekend trek-the trek to the summit of Nag Tibba can be completed in two to three days.As a beginner, one of your concerns is whether you will be able to complete it. A 3 day itinerary starting from Pantwari is the best option in that situation. You can also start your two-day hike from Thatyoor, but this may not be the greatest option considering the arduous climb up to the Nag Mandir and the fact that There is only one place to find water unless you are close to your campsite for the day. ,If you follow Thatyoor’s schedule, you camp at the Nag Mandir the night before the summit the next day and reach Patwari by the end of the day.
NICE ROUTE:-
The terrain from Pantwari to the summit of Nag Tibba is quite smooth, and there are no steep streams that last more than 5 to 10 minutes. The absence of these difficult climbs enables hikers, especially beginners,to take in the natural splendors around them.Beginners are less patient than experienced trekkers, and they want to see the results of their labors (i.e. hiking) as soon as possible. The same happens at Nag Tibba. Two After a three-hour climb, you camp at the Nag Mandir, which offers a 180-degree panorama of the high Himalayas. The picturesque camping area of Nag Mandir is surrounded by Rhododendron forest on one side and Deodar forest on the other. The sunsets of the Himalayas are just as stunning as other camping areas.
A HEALTHY TREK:-
On one trip,Nag Tibba, you can experience everything you might encounter on a longer trek, including jungle tracks, snow and a spectacular view of the highest peaks of the Indian Himalayas (only the duration is short) ).The first day of the journey, which begins at Pantwari,is mainly through a rhododendron forest. The journey involves crossing ankle-to-knee deep snow after the Nag Mandir or just before the Nag Mandir. The journey involves crossing ankle-to-knee deep snow after the Nag Mandir or just before the Nag Mandir. When you reach the top,you can enjoy the view of other peaks including Bandar Poonch,Nanda Devi and the highest peak in India.Above all,it is a circular walk if you plan well.As the landscape is different when you return and you are always inspired by the amount of time you spend on a route, doing a circuit is a bigger experience than always taking the same trail back.
